Tuesday is blitz night in the centre of Brussels. The Ixelles Chess Club runs its friendly blitz at the Toots Jazz Club on the Rue des Chapeliers from 19:00, open to anyone, and asks players to register half an hour early; the games are not rated, and the club site posts the results afterwards. The jazz club sits in a narrow street just off the Grand-Place.
Europchess holds its club evening on Tuesdays from 18:00 with games, training, lectures and club championship rounds, for players linked to the European institutions. In Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, the Cercle d'Echecs de la Woluwe 1200 gives courses at the Maison de la Jeunesse on Tuesday evening, according to the federation register; no recent event of that club was found.
