The Belgian Chess Club's site lists round 5 of its "Open No Surrender" on 16 October 2026 and round 6 on 23 October 2026. A guide updated in September 2025 describes a FIDE-rated standard open at the club on the first three Fridays of the month, at one hour plus 30 seconds. The FIDE list carries Friday opens in Brussels with a new title each season, for example "The Phantom Menace" from 19 September 2025 and "King Attacks" from 9 January 2026; the FIDE records do not name the club.
