An Inside Brussels guide updated on 10 October 2018 says the café hosted blitz tournaments every Tuesday from 18:30, and a guide updated in March 2025 still gave it as the Tuesday blitz venue of the Ixelles Chess Club and as a place for free play all day. The Ixelles Chess Club site says the club was formerly named after this bar, where it was created in the 1990s, and now holds its Tuesday blitz at the Toots Jazz Club, so the club's chess evening has left this café. No current chess activity at the café was found, and whether free play continues here is not stated.
